There's still a good few days left of the app cycle, so I wouldn't get too worried yet, anon.

I know one of the people that reserved (who hasn't apped yet) and I know they're definitely interested in applying, but I haven't seen them online much. So some people might just be busy!

It's taken from the Pennsylvania borough of Zelienople. Here's a video where they say the name. Ours is the same, minus the "-ople."

I promise we weren't just throwing Scrabble tiles at the wall. There were many different ideas for the name, most of them involving Greek mythology. We decided we didn't want to continue the Greek theme, though, and went with another suggestion to give the town a "New England" sort of name. We went through lots of small east coast town names before settling on this one - we thought it was a cute name, and I thought it being named for a girl was an interesting concept we might or might not use for plot somewhere down the line.
