Wouldn't go so far as that, but KyoAni's promotional material says Haruka's dumb and socially awkward, and Makoto pretty much takes care of him all the time. Watching it, there's no way in hell Haruka doesn't have asperger's.

Japan is a country with public baths where you literally bathe and shower with complete strangers naked.

And if they were in a swimming club together they'd probably seen each other naked in the showers a lot.

So it's probably just not a big deal.

i'm really amazed at the rate that scene is brought up. come on folks, there's plenty of stuff you can bring up but that scene really isn't that weird.
