Hope the mod buries the Ellesera BS and focuses on the better game. Otherwise this is bound to suck, catering to the f/f crowd won't improve things at all.

hope you abandon your attempts to shit stir and find something better to do

Can we all just agree to ignore the trolls from here on out? No good comes of responding to shitstirring

Funny attempt to smear those of us who would prefer the M/M game and are worried that the single mod focus on one thing. It's not hate for F/F, it's common sense. Modding two games will spread things too thin.

Re: ELSERA

Which is why I don't understand why they both aren't one game to begin with?

I enjoy the characterization of this as a troll comment when you fuckers know it's exactly what you're thinking anyway.

that's some mighty fine projection right there. you ought to set up for some home movies.

Re: ELSERA

actually it's because the mod has said even from the beginning that they plan to give the f/f game to someone else and primarily focus on the m/m game.

Why is thinking this trolling now? It's not exactly an inflammatory comment. It's way more reasonable than the butthurt it generated, too. I don't even get why it created such a buttdevasted response. Most people I've talked to thought similar.

A friend of mine would have reserved alongside me if there hadn't been the Ellesera thing going on, she doesn't like the idea of the crossover events at all. And I think she has a point, too.

Wouldn't be surprised if the initial comment was just shitstirring, but going out of your way to make two games segregated by gender so that they can be all about M/M and F/F shipping and then arranging crossover events between them sounds unwieldy as fuck. Keep them functionally separate or just have a game with characters of both genders in it, seriously.

Pretty much. It may have been a troll, but the overall sentiment isn't a bad one. Where's the point in setting it up like this?

Re: +1

(Anonymous) 2013-06-08 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
what

how are crossover events such a dealbreaker when they're only gonna happen every few months

Re: +1

(Anonymous) 2013-06-08 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
The fact that your friend won't reserve just because of the crossover events is kind of hilarious when there were actually people getting upset that the crossover events were so few and far between.

Tell her to get over it. There are always ways to get out of events if you don't want to participate and it's not like they're going to be happening all the time.

where were all of you when the game planning was going on? most of the responders liked the idea which is why it's the way it is. good golly

What is hilarious about this? If I apply to a M/M game, I don't want to interact with female characters. That is the entire point of a game like this. Events like this shouldn't even exist - and a few people sameanoning to make them happen doesn't make them better.

NAYRT (honest!)

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
Multiple people liking something you don't like does not a sameanon make. You're way too distraught over this. It's going to be okay.

also NAYRT

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, I thought the point of an M/M game was to play M/M ships, not to avoid female characters altogether.

Re: also NAYRT

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
but icky girls ruin the sanctity of male love. the briefest interaction with females could prove detrimental to even the mightiest of male hearts!

but yeah, anon sounds like a hand flapping yaoibrat (so does op's friend). they're just occasional events and i'm sure players can opt out of them. the basis of the game is still m/m so dry your buttery tears.

Re: also NAYRT

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
But isn't the point of the game to be "boys only" or "girls only"? Not just about shipping, it was originally supposed to be something like "all of the men suddenly disappeared and then the girls became magical" and vice versa. I have no idea why they decided to change that. It shouldn't have even been possible for the men and women to meet because the entire population of men or women was simply gone.

Re: also NAYRT

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, i was the anon who originally brought this up because of some manga i had found. then someone mentioned parallel worlds that were unknowingly affecting each other. and it just went from there.

i don't like that they're now apparently just across the country from each other, but i guess that makes crossover events easier. whatever

Re: also NAYRT

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
But I liked the idea of characters having to deal with there just being no one of the opposite gender, at all, and how that would effect their worldbuilding.

Now it's just magical girl/boy schools.

(Anonymous) 2013-06-09 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Same here. I think it's a neat idea to have two games with essentially the same premise but with different genders. I just don't see what the mixed interactions are going to add to either of the games if the characters are gaining more power by strengthening same sex relationships.

The emphasis on the school bothers me too. It wasn't supposed to literally be magical BOYS. I know the mod mentioned otherwise in the FAQ but the set up sure does cater to younger characters unless you want to play a teacher. Guuuuh.

I still plan to app but I wish there were more than just a school and bunch of restaurants. This game is in dire need of a suggestions box.
