I guess I should mention that the idea was for it to just happen when a character arrives or so, rather than an everyone being an AU where they just were.

I'd kind of dig that, though I'm not sure how sustainable it would be long term. But it's a high concept and honestly we rarely ever get to play these to their full logical extent: permanency.

I remember thinking it was neat that QoH allowed for that, but it got nixed before the game launched. It would've been a cool concept to really dig into.

I figure that it's something that hasn't been done before on this scale before and I'd say RP could use a least something VAGUELY new.

As for QoH, I believe the idea got nixed shortly after the game started, as there was one character I recall who fit that kind of idea.
