d'eon de beaumont of le chevalier d'eon. the canon point i'd like to play from has him basically being two people and i just don't think i'd be able to handle it very well at the moment.

Freckle from Lackadaisy. He's too similar to one of my other characters, I'd probably have to commission art of the human version of him if I app him at my current game, don't want to be labeled a furry and I prefer to play from completed canons (and the webcomic he's from is wonderful but updates veeeeery slowly).

a) i cannot take him seriously, like, at all
b) backstory would be headcanon (or maybe not? idk i don't have the phase one super amazing briefcase bonanza, maybe it's full of illuminating stuff) until a movie comes out where it isn't and then there's all that to deal with
3) i'm too flakey for games and i don't want to subject anyone to my crap habits.

This guy. Or cat, or feline, or whatever you want to call him.

Two reasons: One, I really don't want to humanize him and it seems most games I come across require humanization for any non-human characters. Two, he's a psychopathic, supernatural cat. So, probably not exactly a good fit for most games.

It's mostly just that I have no idea where I'd put him.

1. Simply because Teen Wolf. And i'm fairly certain that most people are sick of the more regularly apped characters.
2. There are a number of Derek players already looking around for games.

I keep thinking about it, but I'm just scared of games in general.

I know that no one actually gives a fuck anymore, but I still have it embedded in my brain that RPing DBZ is an RP faux pas that should never, ever be attempted by anyone anywhere in a serious setting.

eh, there's a cast at luceti that's growing larger with the next app cycle, if you really wanted to give it a go with other people. there's currently goku, bulma, bulla, and vegeta, with a trunks and android 17 potential for the next round (and maybe pan?) and people seem pretty happy to play with them.

but i won't because his personality would be of an antagonist if he wasn't a protagonist

going against the grain of what fandom thinks is often a dangerous pastime

besides where could i even put a twelve year old boy who has a semi-fragile god complex compelled by his win streak and destroyed every time he loses

1) She has six possible fathers
2) She technically has like twenty possible hair colours since one of her fathers can basically have every color of rainbow and then some.
3) I'm still ridiculously unsure with her voice slightly related to reason one and my own headcanon father for her.

Although there is a drama cd coming out at the end of the month so maybe that whole father problem might be solved! (I highly doubt it though)

I really miss playing the little guy but I can't app him anywhere at the moment, mainly because I have developed very bad RPing habits (particularly super slow tagging) that won't allow me to play more than just one character. I'm also super picky with games and haven't really found a place I'd want to put him in anyway.

Will Graham, tv version. The show's only one episode out and I want to see how much of the book they're changing (I also play from the book, so far they're sounding pretty similar, but I don't want to pad one version with the history of the other). Plus I won't really have the time to play as actively as I'd like.

i think i could pull her voice off, but there's loads and loads we don't know about her home culture that we're sure to find out as the canon goes on, and it's sure to be relevant to her because this manga loves its intricate worldbuilding.

I haven't RPed with him at all, and I'm pretty busy. I'll probably at least meme or musebox a little, though.

I played another whiny, hacker-with-a-god-complex type once and it was harder than expected.

- I haven't found the time to play her.

- Her canon is very long (80+ hours) and would require me to write it out since the wikia is kinda shitty for backgrounds.

- Not a very good excuse but I'd have to find somebody to commission drawn icons from because nothing I can find is that varied in expressions and fuck going through a 150+ part video walkthrough somewhere to find good expressions to icon.

complicated powers with very little explanation that could easily get expanded on in later novels

but might not because this series has a million characters and many of them are rarely used and it's just generally a confusing as fuck canon

plus a friend who plays a close canonmate and I would like to play together but we're not sure which games would take both of them at once since the narrative kind of presents them as the same person yet not(her character remade his body out the special substance he creates and made this guy out of the same stuff so he could be his slave but this guy developed his own will and literally took over the other's existence, making one of them "the original Kakine Teitoku" and this guy--Rhinoceros Beetle 05--"the new Kakine Teitoku"). It's confusing. They've got drastically different personalities so at least we've got that going for us.

I'd love to play out this guy learning all kinds of magic, but Goldilocks problems.

I've always said that I would play this loser one day, but I think I may just be too afraid of Doing It Wrong (e.g., characterization [since it tends to be a rather wank-prone subject in the fandom, as well as simply being worried about being able to pull it off well in the first place], culture, history, etc.) to do anything with him :(

Slapstick cartoon characters are hard to RP.
