I wish I was more comfortable with tagging unfamiliar journals here, but I cant seem to shake squeamishness over writing smug with people I'm not already friends with OOCly.

This limits my options a lot, but tiptoeing out of my comfort zone in kink territory is so awwwwkwaaaaard with people I'm not sure will give me honest feedback about what they're enjoying or not.

Yeah, this is an open sex dressing, nut up or shut up, I know. But I'm so babysteps about approaching new rp partners. None of these issues with gen threads, so its mostly just ... pornjudgey nerves, I guess.

I actually feel less comfortable RPing smut with people I know. At least if strangers think you're doing something wrong or don't enjoy themselves then it doesn't really matter. Who cares what someone thinks when all you want to do is get your smut on for a bit in a stress free setting before you forget all about them?

Try to relax and have some fun, anon. Maybe toss a top level comment up onto the next meme or poke around the current ones to see if there's anything you like the look of. Start with a character you're familiar with, maybe, if that'll help ease you in.

And while I feel your pain, anon, I don't thread much smut with people I know OOCly but I only thread smut with familiar journals. It's weird. I guess I put up posts and let people tag in instead. Yeah!
