rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-02 07:24 am (UTC)(link)It'll involve both, at times. There will be events where the characters need to help (but aren't obligated to), and there will be times where it's just NPCs going on in the background to advance the plot as a whole.
The mysterious stuff will become not so mysterious over time too! So at first it's going to be "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing until it's revealed what it is, which at that point becomes something characters can interact with, and may even need to at some points.

Otherwise you'll have people thinking they'll be punished for interacting with something intended to be interacted with because you shooed them away from something meant to just be observed.
