Young love. Characters hook up, have some good times, have some bad times as they get to know eachother better, eventually come to realize being together is not the best for either of them and break things off then awkwardly go through re-learning how to be friends. Even better if they end up becoming like siblings they're that close as friends.

Finding someone who'd be willing to thread out all the negatives of this and would be in it for the long haul would be near impossible.

That is actually a really good idea for playing with characters from things that irrationally bug me.

Any casts anywhere? Anyone RP from this series at all?

I'm jealous too, but it's an issue of not being able to find a game I like, not an issue of motivation.

Honestly, it's more negativity than wank! Because of how bad things were when Kei modded, there's such a bad stigma against Zodion. It used to get dropped as the most wanky game on DW during periods where we wouldn't even get WG threads, or would have no responses.

Nothing, yet. I'm only mid-reminisce in my replaythrough, and I checked if the name was taken and it wasn't.

It'd be cool to play him, but he's pretty similiar visually and in attitude to a character I already play, and I've played Luke from Tales of the Abyss for a long time too and considering Yuri's voice for them is like identical, I don't want to mix up their voices in my head when playing it over my tags... Hard life, man.

For anons familiar with those games, I could picture an AU, semi-AU, OC, or combination RP working in a world inspired by them or set in their 'verse!

For those not, which is probably the majority, they're a pair of games set in art-creates-life worlds with premises based around allowing the player to draw and control creatures. GK is a bit more whimsical and plays it in a platformer-style with the main character drawing himself forms to shapeshift into with different strengths - draw a form with wings and it'll be able to fly, a monster form with longer legs than the others will be able to run faster and jump higher than most, etc.; MP, I almost want to compare to a Studio Ghibli film in its attitude, and plays it in a Pokémon style with drawn monsters springing to life after being drawn with the assistance of a sort of color fairy, often used in competitive tournaments.

There are other details, but to keep on topic, since I read that the games do definitely take place in the same continuity, I've loosely tried to imagine how they could fit together and how the mythology and whatnot would work. I could imagine the plot being set pre-GK in the days before Pastel sealed away the devil, focusing on a revolutionary group and the demons seeking to root them out; between GK and MP during the period of transition between demons joining society and becoming known as "doodles" and the Doodle King's disappearance, either before or after their enslavement; or close to MP, either before or after, maybe with another tournament or just in the aftermath the one during the game.

Roles of AU or OU characters in any of those settings would be pretty obvious, but by semi-AU characters, I mean that perhaps characters could be new demons/doodles drawn with their memories as blank slates - a little more like clones of the original characters in looks and personality, and free to add new abilities and traits onto themselves, draw themselves additional forms as the Demon Bosses and Mono could, etc.. In the pre-GK setting, they could be drawn as additions to the devils' ranks or Pastel's allies, and after it, also plain-and-simply as new demons and doodles; in the days closer to MP, they could be tournament doodles or steps towards (pre-MP) or attempts to recreate (post-MP) Galileo's creating fully-sentient doodles again to create a doodle king.

...Most of that is probably nonsense to anyone who hasn't played/doesn't really remember the games, and so I'll happily elaborate a bit more on anything if anyone wants.

this is what i do with a bunch of characters from my game, less because i hate the canon and more because they're so bad if you assume they're canon characters rather than fandom ocs.
