Weird how? I'm curious since I haven't noticed anything off icly from either of them.

Not sure how that would be weird? Look at the character. Wouldn't Cassie have known he was more traditional when they started dating, even if children didn't come up.

Well 1) like above anon said, Jon has more traditional values and for someone like Cassie who clearly doesn't know the meaning of monogamous, judging by what I've seen of her, that wouldn't fly. 2) what does Dany have to do with it? We're talking about Jon and Cassie here.

While I don't know Cassie's canon real well I do know that if Jon and Dany progress a certain way, would it really be that ooc for him? I'm sure the muns have all communicated the matter so it's not really up to anons to decide if it's some vendetta of Jon mun's.

Bringing a possible Dany & Jon pairing into it just screams wankstirring.

Jon Snow thinking seriously about having children, in a place where his oaths to the Wall and his baseborn status don't matter, is actually quite IC of him. There's several quotes in ASoS that support this.

If he could have a family with kids of his own, he'd do it in a heartbeat.

Also, why would Cassie have a problem with having children? Aside from personal issues she does love children iirc about her.

I'm with this anon. I don't see why Cassie wouldn't want kids. If you read the thread between them, it seems they both have valid concerns. Cassie's stability, Jon's oaths, and the nature of the island.

I don't know why people are up in arms about this pairing.

I've yet to find this so called thread where he even was. Maybe this is all Cassie mun, upset that Jon did the marriage curse with Dany? There's a lot of grudge wank about these two characters going on, from what I'm seeing. As for the not wanting children, yes thank you for pointing that out. He doesn't want any bastards and I'm not sure if you've read A Storm of Swords so I won't comment any further on how that changes minutely for him but it does change a bit as the story goes on.

Like Benjen said to him as far back as A Game of Thrones, he is giving up a lot by joining the Watch and that part is not forgotten just because he's sworn vows. Jon's whole character arc for the last 5 books has been about struggling with his vows. He hasn't exactly kept them in Amat, has he? No, because he'd die. I don't get why people aren't understanding this. The game premise can change a character's outlook especially after mind altering curses. So if Jon entertained the idea of children that is not OOC for him since he canonically struggles with his vows constantly.
