rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I hate to trot out the whole "intent isn't magic" line, but...intent isn't magic. Not trying to start wank doesn't really make what she tried to do any better. Most wankers don't try to wank, anyway, the wank just comes when people call them out on their bullshit. Like now.

all i'm seeing here is one roleplayer being vocal about her disliking another roleplayer and making one stupid decision about it. it's not lynch mob worthy. you guys are overreacting.

which might be okay were it not for the fact that man-d/aaron's notorious for doing shit like this. it's not "one stupid decision", it's them doing the same damn thing they always do that gets them into trouble every damn time. they deserve to be called out.

This went way fucking beyond, and she didn't deserve the explosion that just happened, but the wank didn't come from nowhere. She has a history of doing annoying impulsive attention-grabbing like this without thinking it through, and more than a few people are fed up.

isn't "doing stupid things because you don't like an RPer" pretty much what most wank boils down to?
