See, I think that's going a little too much on personal experience, though. I, too, have a lisp, and though I've tempered it with practice, when it's full-blown? It thoundth exactly like how Tholluckth' lithp ith generally portrayed in RP.

Yes, it's more intense/obvious on some sounds than others, but it's there for all of them. Now, Sollux's lisp is caused by his fangs or whatever, making it pretty much impossible for him to make a normal "s" sound. Because of that, I think the s/z lisp is probably not going to be one that would work, because s and z sounds are formed pretty much the same way in your mouth. I lisp because my jaw is very small and narrow, my tongue doesn't quite fit inside properly, and I literally physically cannot make an "s" sound the way most people do. Maybe different sorts of physiological causes for lisping cause different intensities of lisps.

...just saying. Just because there's no way in hell YOU talk like that doesn't mean there aren't people who do.
