rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. as someone who tried to play in the cast as a female character with canon close CR with Karkat and Dave, i know first hand how true this is. those two players especially are obsessed with Karkat/Dave and it shows in everything they do in EV including only tagging each other or other objects of their yaoi obsession.

i loved the game but i had to drop. it was literally impossible to play my character in that cast.

but yeah, I've had the same problem in other games. They don't seem all that interested in female castmates to me.

As someone in the game I'm really disappointed by this. I'd love the characters I think you're referencing, Jade and Terezi, but we have gone through a lot. They don't seem to retain. I'm sorry you felt the need to drop even though I understand. I just hope this can be resolved somehow.
