I forget: did anything ever happen with that game based on Borderlands?

Figure I should ask before I start talking, but anyway, right now I'm kind of imagining a game using a sort of mix of similarly themed series for world building, set in a shithole ex-prison colony planet with varying degrees of civilisation (for a rather dubious given value of civilisation) in development.

Remove all or most of people's powers and set it to 'get a gun asap, fight to survive.'

Sure people can try to build up some slice of life, but at least there's an excuse for mods to occasional wreck people's shit whenever they're too safe and/or happy.

It never opened, despite having the comms set up and everything. So heartbreaking, I remember it to this day. Sunny Pandora.

In other words: do it go go go.

Question, would you prefer if it was done:
A) on Pandora with some aspects modified for game balance and cameos

B) on an original planet set in the Borderlands universe so perhaps we can take advantage of the many other vaults that are apparently in the solar system according to Borderlands 2 as a cheap plot device macguffin (since if mining companies used prisoners as free/cheap labour then abandoned them there for additional savings, what's to say they didn't do so multiple times)

C) an original universe drawing themes from Borderlands so stuff can be pulled from stuff like Firefly, Trigun and Cowboy Bebop

I know I said I was dreaming of C) but I figure it's worth asking.

If you're filling in blanks and/or expanding on the world, I don't see why you couldn't go with C while still calling it Pandora.

Hey, may you consider having a question along the lines of "why do you want to play this character in this game" on the app? That might make it easier to tell which characters are actually suited to non-slice-of-life stuff (or, at least, suited to freaking out in entertaining ways a la Arthur Dent).

tbh I find the 'why do you want to play this character here' questions to be really awful, I never think my answers for them are good enough.

On the other hand it could beat the shit out of listening to players whining because I wrecked their happy safe family bullshit with bandits or alien wildlife.
