Meh, idk. I lived completely alone for the better part of a decade. I had casual friends, but few people I was really close to. I wouldn't have said at the time that I "had anybody."

What I got was more independent and self-reliant. And that sure as fuck made me a better partner and better able to have the very strong and happy relationship I'm in now.

Being weird isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not everyone aspires to being "normal." The last thing I ever wanted to be was "normal," but that sure as hell doesn't mean I'm "doomed" to being alone or that going through life for so long without anyone was bad for me. Just saying.
