So with this past event, I feel like I might have kickstarted some fun new CR. Feelin' good. Anybody else?

Nope. Feeling ignored, just like in every other event I've ever posted to.

People are only tagging their friends. As a bonus LA chars are only tagging other LA chars by the look of it.

Here I thought Luceti had mostly avoided the media divide. Whoever joined the game and started to re-enforce it can fuck the hell off.

honestly this event has had me running in circles keeping up with cr, so tagging new people hasn't been easy

i feel bad because i didn't even have the time to tag all of the people i said i would, there was just so much going on.

If I knew who you were, anon, I would definitely tag you. It sucks to be the one left out all the time.

Then go tag someone who has no replies! Even if it isn't this anon, it would help one player feel less ignored and that's a good thing!

Honestly, would be cool if everyone who saw this comment would go do just that. That would make a huge difference in helping people feel less ignored.

This. I tried to tag a few people who I saw didn't have any replies but I had other threads going on too so I couldn't hit everyone. And also, even if you didn't get tags, you can still tag other people! Maybe you can get some fun threads going that way too.

I'd consider myself a decently popular player but there have been times I've posted to mass logs and not gotten any bites. It doesn't mean that people don't like you or want to play with you (because if that were the case I wouldn't have the CR I do), sometimes you just get overlooked because there's so much going on. So please don't take it as a personal slight or think that people aren't interested in playing with you, anon!

When it's this persistent, and my personal entries and log threads get basically ignored but for a couple of tags that feel obligatory and get dropped, I have a hard time believing that any longer.

I appreciate the encouragement, anon, but I'm pretty sure at this point that nobody wants to play with me so I really should just drop.

I'm sorry to hear that, anon, and I'm sorry if I haven't tagged your character. It always makes me sad to see people feeling left out like that. I try to make it a point to hit up at least a few new people every app round but sometimes things just don't ping my characters or the CR ends up not sticking for whatever reason.

I think it's harder when you've been in the game for a while, or at least that's been my experience. If you're new people will take pity on the noob and tag, but when you've been around and most of your cr has dropped, nobody is interested in talking because you aren't new and shiny. I've been struggling for months to get new cr but it's been a bunch of dropped threads and empty posts for me.

This. Pretty much lost all my close CR so i kinda have nothing to do anymore. I honestly don't know why I keep bothering with this game. But I'll stick it out and just keep tagging other people. Maybe i'll get something worth while out of doing that. it also doesn't really help when people aren't willing to tag outside their little circle for whatever reasons. Makes a person new/old feel like they're not wanted.

You know what, I'm gonna start tagging older players and see if I can't get some CR with you guys. I've been here for a while myself and I feel like my CR is all dropping on me or moving on without me, so let's team up fellow oldbie!

Omg, I have been wondering what my issue was. I use to never have a problem getting tags and I do go around tagging new people when I can, but it never seems to go anywhere.

This just perfectly sums up the problems I've been having and why I've been thinking of dropping. I just haven't been getting any tags since most of my CR has been dropping over the past year. I don't know if I feel better finally putting what my problem into words or not though. Just sucks if I have to leave this game after all these years just because my character is just too established for new people to want to tag me.

As an older player I've definitely noticed that newer players seem really... reluctant to tag older players sometimes, for lack of a better word. It's sad because I try to make my posts as open to everyone as possible but out of the 10 people who tagged me on my last post, only one of them was a new player I didn't know/have previous CR with.

I want to play with new people! I just don't know how to convince them that I'm not scary or whatever it is that's keeping them from tagging me. ): (And yes I do tag new people but it's nice when people tag you too)

I have this problem too, except new players never tag me period. Don't get me wrong I love my old CR, but we've been tagging the same characters together for 3 years now, we're running out of things to talk about and it's stagnating.

I wish new players would be brave enough to tag old ones. We're struggling to get new CR, you've just apped and you need CR, surely that sounds like a winning combination to put together! There's no need to be intimidated, we're not angry dogs who will bite at your ankles, we're RPers just like you guys :(

I have been so behind with everything that I didn't even get to tag everyone I should have before getting the chance to branch out. It's really disappointing, but I'm not sure people would want new tags (especially on a post with captcha active) so late.

I love all the new people who tagged mine, though!

This was my problem too, I had a lot of RL stuff going on that left me pretty behind but I really didn't want to drop the other threads I had going either.

I think it's still worth going through and making the day of someone who looks lonely!

I went out and tagged some new people for this event, and I do not regret it at all. :3

How do you define not enthusiastic?

Speaking as someone who also encountered this problem, I would define 'not enthusiastic' as conversations just going through the motions, where the other mun(s)would tag back maybe once a day at the most. More often now, they're going two or three days.

To be fair, I think we're all a little backlogged right now, but it is something I've only noticed happening in my non-CR threads (I have six, for one character).
