rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I think it's harder when you've been in the game for a while, or at least that's been my experience. If you're new people will take pity on the noob and tag, but when you've been around and most of your cr has dropped, nobody is interested in talking because you aren't new and shiny. I've been struggling for months to get new cr but it's been a bunch of dropped threads and empty posts for me.

This. Pretty much lost all my close CR so i kinda have nothing to do anymore. I honestly don't know why I keep bothering with this game. But I'll stick it out and just keep tagging other people. Maybe i'll get something worth while out of doing that. it also doesn't really help when people aren't willing to tag outside their little circle for whatever reasons. Makes a person new/old feel like they're not wanted.

You know what, I'm gonna start tagging older players and see if I can't get some CR with you guys. I've been here for a while myself and I feel like my CR is all dropping on me or moving on without me, so let's team up fellow oldbie!

Omg, I have been wondering what my issue was. I use to never have a problem getting tags and I do go around tagging new people when I can, but it never seems to go anywhere.

This just perfectly sums up the problems I've been having and why I've been thinking of dropping. I just haven't been getting any tags since most of my CR has been dropping over the past year. I don't know if I feel better finally putting what my problem into words or not though. Just sucks if I have to leave this game after all these years just because my character is just too established for new people to want to tag me.

As an older player I've definitely noticed that newer players seem really... reluctant to tag older players sometimes, for lack of a better word. It's sad because I try to make my posts as open to everyone as possible but out of the 10 people who tagged me on my last post, only one of them was a new player I didn't know/have previous CR with.

I want to play with new people! I just don't know how to convince them that I'm not scary or whatever it is that's keeping them from tagging me. ): (And yes I do tag new people but it's nice when people tag you too)

I have this problem too, except new players never tag me period. Don't get me wrong I love my old CR, but we've been tagging the same characters together for 3 years now, we're running out of things to talk about and it's stagnating.

I wish new players would be brave enough to tag old ones. We're struggling to get new CR, you've just apped and you need CR, surely that sounds like a winning combination to put together! There's no need to be intimidated, we're not angry dogs who will bite at your ankles, we're RPers just like you guys :(

This makes me feel kind of better about it. I was actually a little hesitant to say anything before because I didn't know whether it was just that people weren't interested in tagging my character, you know? But if someone else has been encountering the same thing then it probably isn't my character that's the problem. Or at least that's what I hope!

You'd be surprised how many people feel the same way. That's part of where the "stagnating" feeling comes from. They want to play their characters, but Luceti itself isn't supplying them with anything to keep interested. I know I try to tag new characters each cycle, but they rarely tag me back when my own entries go up. It can get incredibly discouraging.
