rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. (Anonymous) 2012-05-24 07:20 am (UTC)(link)ax is a horror game set on a creepy abandoned spaceship after the original crew basically vanished, leaving only the two NPCs (the captain and chief engineer) behind. the modplot is definitely there, but pretty slow-burning, with a lot of arg-ish elements incorporated so far (puzzles, IC, password-locked tumblrs used for information dumps, that sort of thing). i understand if horror is not your cup of tea, though!
as far as pace goes, i would call it on the slower end of medium! when modplot isn't going on, there generally aren't that many posts, but they tend to rack up large comment counts, if that makes sense! and backtagging is a big thing, if you're woried about the pace. (i know slow, medium, and fast really vary from person to person.)
castmates: from the iron man end of things, we have a tony and a pepper, and we also have a smattering of avengers and other mcu characters (natasha, thor, bruce, and i believe a cap, with a hawkeye on reserve). i believe los avengadores are making a collective canon update at the end of the app round, but i'm sure the cast would lovelovelove to have you. if it helps you make the decision any, rhodey could probably keep his suit if he was coming from im2, since tony definitely has a suit onboard.
apps open on the 1st of june, if you're at all interested. i'm not in the mcu cast, but i'd love to see you there!
