Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Well, on open logs with a large number of threads, they prevent the comments from all ending up on one page and turning the log into an unloadable mess.

On this log, they're completely pointless.

That's what I meant, that it's pointless because they're all on one page. It's also confusing since they don't all say the same thing and there are different numbers of filler comments in between the real thread comments. I know that's nitpicky, but is it so hard to keep it uniform?

To be fair, the reason they don't all say the same thing is because DW won't let you post multiple comments with the same text to prevent spam, so you can't just post < for all of them. You can get around it pretty easily with HTML tags, but I guess they didn't know it.
