Anyway, I see a lot of questions about the amount of smut in this game, and a lot of dismissive answers about it, so as a player in the game I'm going to provide some concrete answers.

At time of writing (May 19th, 11:55 AM) 30 posts are displayed on one page of the log com. The old post on the first page is dated May 17th. Of these 30 logs...

28 are smut posts.
2 of the smut posts are open to all.
3 logs have 3 or more participants (one of which is an orgy with 15 people)
5 of the logs (excluding the orgy one) have participants already in a log on the top page.

Hopefully this helps more than random anecdata.

my point is that the frustration aimed at the "no smut threads" in this game is generally because they don't ever finish if they're started. not all of them of course but most of them. just because you finished 15 threads doesn't mean the majority of the game has.

no, not all sex games have this problem. the one i'm in doesn't have it nearly as bad as zodion does. amat doesn't have it as much anymore either because all the flakes are in zodion now. thus in conclusion it's a zodion problem. nice try, though.

if you wanted to thread smut so desperately, i'm sure you could find someone. there are flaky people in every game, unfortunately. there are clearly SOME logs being finished in zodion and repeatedly whining on rpanons isn't helping to change the problem, assuming there is one. why don't you try communicating with the players themselves rather than running off to your soapbox to whine about how zodion is so wah wah cliquey and mean and doesn't finish their logs?

i don't really care enough to prove it. i'm just saying your rampent whiteknighting doesn't help the problem either. i never said cliquey, i just said people thread drop like crazy in this game. that's the kind of players that are there.

and again, like i said, i know there are logs being finished. but i know most AREN'T. i can be a slow tagger sometimes but i WILL keep tagging! but nearly every smut thread but about two that i've been involved in are dropped after only a few days. and i know i'm not the only person with this problem. (yeah i'm in zodion too.)

basically? it IS a problem in this game. it's not just baseless bitching and accusations we're pulling out of our ass. stop acting like we're here just to start wank. you tell me to fix it but what am i suppose to do if i keep getting thread dropped? i talk to them twice and when i still get no response, do i keep pestering them? do i keep badgering them to tag??

If you like I could go back over these posts next month and note which ones are completely, ongoing, or abandoned.

I'm being sincere in this offer, by the way, especially if you're an incoming player. Smut is a major draw in a sex game and I want the amount that happens to be represented fairly.

I skipped back to April 08, 3:59 PM. The oldest post is March 29, 03:53 AM. I was trying to see how things actually panned out.

18 are smut posts.
0 of the smut posts are open to all.
4 of the logs have participants already in a log on this page.

6 looked as though they were still ongoing (comments in the last week)
7 looked to be dropped or ended by agreement (can't tell)
5 looked to come to a conclusion without fade to black

out of curiosity, is it about the same when there isn't an event going on? (unless i'm mistaken in the timing of the event)
