Iiiii would like to apologize personally for that. I'm aware that I can be flaky with Brian, mostly because i'm not as comfortable with him as I should be, something which needs to be worked on.

I've also had health problems the past month which made me have to drop a number of threads, many of Brian's included (as well with with other characters). But now that it's legitimately been brought up I promise to try to do better and focus a little harder on not dropping threads with him. ♥

also, do feel free to pm me if there's something you think i've dropped that you'd like to continue.

lol at the planning for Round 4. All but 2 people at my last count are saying "WELL I WANT MY CHARACTER TO WIN." So does everyone, but yeah this is stupid as hell.

And River-mun? Way to be a godmoddy jerk. Seriously, no one is going to want to play with you when you act like that. I read the thread she had with Charles-mun when they plotted that out in R3, too. ...its just insulting.

River-mun is passive aggressive as fuck, especially in the thread with Charles, where the idea to kill River would actually work. Newsflash: Even in Whedonverse, "cutting up the brain" as you put it would kill the character. They fucked with her badly, but she's still vulnerable to the suggestion posed, given that it seemed like the Charles-mun put in some effort to try and work with them.

All of these rounds should just be randomized tbqh. Especially if everyone is saying "I want to win".

All of this big drama about the prom, spamming the ooc community and timelines, and it ends being a huge flop.

Either limiting the duration, potency, and the amount it can affect others sounds like a good start if you want to recommend to other Touhou players that they might be making their muse "too powerful". For danmaku, just put the characters on "easy mode" for others they face. I've had no problem downing my character's powers.

Personally I have trouble seeing how Eirin and Byakuren are included with the actual gods characters..

Since you mentioned it, I have a character who is supposed to be a big fan of that show. Anyone have recommendations for awesome episodes to watch?

I play Dave in AUs; non-sburb ones where he goes to school and everything is normal. And I usually play him as part of the popular crowd. Not as an active participant, just as the sort of stand-off-ish type. As in, people say 'Oh, that guy is mysterious and cool, look how little he talks to people.' and whatever, I have some headcanons.

This is mostly because I am banking on most high schoolers being idiots.

As far as canon, though, I don't really agree with this so much? I think the argument could be made for Rose, yes. And Jade- well, Jade lives on an island by herself, so, there's not really a measurement of popularity. But I've seen fics where she does get in that environment, and people flock to her, and that seems right. And I think John is popular in his own right, too! Sure, they're all kind of nerdy, but they've got their own circle they hang out with, and they're pretty 0k with themselves.

And then there's the awkward little lame-butt bundle of dorkwad that is Dave. I play a pretty terrible canon Dave, but I really enjoy playing up this aspect of him.

So tl;dr, I agree that Dave's lame, but I love having the other kids be overall cooler than him. It adds bonus irony. ~~wtf, why am I writing this on minimal sleep?~~
