Noanga You remember giggles, a touch of the faerie, and faint, indescribable words. Blink and you stand on the bridge of a semi-derelict spaceship with other people, all with the same confused or alarmed look. Alas the Ship’s AI, Navi-No, doesn’t possess any answers outside the helpful suggestion to settle in. Inspired by far too many space-themed sci-fi franchises, Noanga sees characters brought in and then left to their own devices in an unknown, hostile galaxy known as The Whirlpool. They now have a Quest to find who brought them here, and, more importantly, a way home. The game aims to cover a wide range of genres outside Sci-Fi and Fantasy, with slice of life, action, adventure, horror, mystery, and drama, all while ensuring there are plenty of shenanigans to be had along the way. The Mod Plot is in the background and player-lead plots are highly encouraged and welcomed as a way of building on the established lore. The game runs at a 2:1 pace, has minimalist apps on a two month cycle, and 20 comment AC due every two months. The aim is for maximum fun with minimal stress. Our TDM is always Open and we have a workshop for who need help coming up with an AU for their character. I am looking for something kind of vague, with a bunch of possible scenarios.

Essentially, I'd like to play out a reunion, preferably with some intense sex involved. Could be lovers reunited after a time apart (willingly or unwillingly); friends who had a "will they, won't they" thing going on before they were separated and kind of falling into each other when they're reunited; two people hooking up at their high school reunion. I have a couple of half-formed ideas that I'm happy to toss at people.

I'm thinking OCs are probably best for this but I'm happy to play against canon characters. No medium preference; I'm split between drawn and live action characters/PBs. I'd prefer to play the female side in m/f. Very open to kinks.

i guess this is more of an "enable me if applicable," but: if i found witch hat atelier to be too boring/too focused on the younger characters in the beginning, would i like it better if i caught up? i thought the art was great and the writing was good, i'm just not interested in academy/school/apprentice themes unless the focus is primarily on adult characters.

how much do dw game players take their cue from mod activity?

example: on tumblr, at least in the circles that I was in, players would essentially play follow the leader with regards to how active the mods were in playing their own characters. if the mods were active writers, the game would be fine. if the mods became almost totally inactive on their own characters, the game would often die because everybody else would stop posting.

is that true here? or can a game still flourish if the mod is slow in their threads, but does everything mod-related on time?
