Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.

I’ve learned to budget, cut out of my life a money pit relationship and got my finances in order this year. Despite some very expensive maintenance and some monthly bills doubling due to decisions made by my country’s current leadership, I’m still coming out on top and saving again. It hasn’t been easy but the impact on my mental health has been great!!

i got new pillow cases. i've never wanted a particular pillow case so badly. i'm glad i got them when i did cause now they're sold out!

About this time last year, I bought a house in horrible condition and have spent every waking non-working moment fixing it up.

Moved in a week ago to a beautiful house and I'm still so happy and proud.

there's an author/artist in my fandom that i've admired for many years for their talent and the effort they put into their work, and i recently found, on Wayback Machine, their ancient geocities webpage with art and fanfic they made for a different fandom when they were probably in their mid-teens. i feel a *little* bad because they'd probably die of embarrassment knowing anyone was looking at it, but i'm really enjoying it. i think it's really cute and fascinating to see how their art has developed since then and what themes have carried through a lot of their stuff over the years.

i had a site like that when i wasn't even fifteen yet. if it was me (it probably isn't because i only did mostly fic, not art, but) i won't mind if you just look

but honestly that was one of my favorite eras of my old fandom, even if i know not everything was perfect in fandom spaces back then either

if someone wanted to talk to me about it privately at least, i'd be really happy they even managed to find it or even cared about it. honestly i've gotten over the embarrassment too. it was a part of my life, i've accepted that it happened, i grew as a writer and i moved on. now i'm having the time of my life creating for my current fandoms, one of which still includes that same old fandom, just some different material than i used to make.

hopefully that creator you admire feels the same
