felt a little let down by that ending, and i'd planned to play from this game :/ i think by episode 5 or 6, i realized this game wasn't doing much in terms of story. still fun to see the character shenanigans, but the plot and worldbuilding are cardboard

that is a GREAT reason to play from the canon in my perspective! you can build on the worldbuilding in rp and fill in holes.

i was trying not to shit on people's fun but honestly? yeah i hated it. the "choices matter" tag on steam is a lie, they barely matter at all.

I'd forgive it more if one of my love interest choice was Prism. I didn't care for invisigal or blonde blazer.

Agreed, I found the other members of the Z-Team way more fun.

Blonde Blazer didn't have any hooks, and I'm sad that remained the case. People are saying that Invisgal was on the rapey side with the aggressive way she pursued Robert. I romanced her, so I saw it mostly as mutual, but it sounds like even if you don't romance her, she still shows up and spies on you in the bathroom, kisses you unprompted, shares all of her sex dreams, etc. Which I agree would be pretty unpleasant if you don't like her.

I'd like her more if she tone down the sex talk. It was fine in the beginning, but then she wouldn't stop. And I don't know, she is 32 years old (I think???) but behaves more like an edgy teen.

Chase, I can look over because of what his powers were doing, but she was too much and turned me off.

she's not supposed to have healthy coping mechanisms or to be particularly pleasant; she's a villain who is constantly giving up on the idea she can be a better person at first. you're meeting her at the beginning of her choosing to stop being a dick, but she has to have features that are dick-like in order to get better from.

not saying you have to like her, btw, just that like. she's not much of a shitty-person-villain-working-for-redemption if they don't give her features of being a shitty-person-villain

I really liked Invisigal but ngl getting the chance to romance Prism instead would have been tops

tbh Prism, Malevola, Flambae, and Waterboy all would've been higher on my list than Invisigal, and I'm a Laura Bailey stan

I did enjoy the ending though, I'm probably in the minority there
