i don’t tag out because my character is mean and i don’t want to impose that on strangers

same hat, i used to tag out with them and it went badly enough times that i decided to stop

I tag everyone who asks me to, but I don't like to inflict his attitude on anyone without permission. he can end up a good guy but he's abrasive as fuck to first meet so I dont want anyone to get stuck with some mean shit they didnt sign up for.

should i change my top level to say [ ota especially mean characters ]

Just know that there are people out there who love when characters don't get along right away or who go on to butt heads even after growing to like each other. This sort of cr is my favorite.

i once had some cr where the two characters butted heads for the entire years-long run of the game but grudgingly accepted the other's competence at certain things. i still think of it fondly even now.

I love mean characters! What would help you to tag out - is it 'ota - please bring me mean characters' tag?

Not every tag has to be characters falling in love (secret or otherwise) or conflict-free, and I love violative interactions between characters.

as one of the mean-guy players, i thinkit might be more appropriate/helpful to be like 'open to conflict'? I can't help but feel like 'open to mean-guys' is asking for trouble even as one of the mean-guy players, but since I also wouldn't fault someone for just wanting to play fluff even when they might normally be cool with conflict, having a 'i'm good for conflict/argumentative threads here' depending on the meme feels a bit more useful. maybe. this is all just theory.

just put in your permissions that you're open to conflict, negative cr, bickering, or whatever it is that you want to play with mean characters
