rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I had been, and then they started giving me the cold shoulder. I miss it.

Adding on:
they had also been my favorite person to tag, and now that the cold shoulder thing is going on, I feel very adrift. I love all of my tags but that spark is different.

typically someone who is engaged in the thread and I'm not doing all of the work to move it forward. I'm really self conscious about being boring or putting all of the work on my partner, so I try to be as engaging as I'd expect them to be. Writing style tends to be secondary. I can write with just about anyone as long as the load is more or less evenly distributed.

Chatting with me ooc helps keeps me invested too.

their character is hot and finds my character hot, debauchery from all angles, they contribute ideas, our writing styles are like cousins, communication, tag length varies as needed, they're a lil crazy, they tag 1-3 times a week, they slip me pictures of cats

but i'd also be cool with daily tags, personally

character chemistry, compatible styles, and consistent tags are all important things i want from most of my thread partners, but my favorites are the ones that flatter me because i'm a slut for validation

i've never had this happen but i hope it does someday, validation is the best

Validation is a massive one for me, especially when it’s more about the writing and less of the obligatory “I adore your blorbo” kind of validation

I do try to do my part in complimenting my rp partners after especially good tags, but I also kinda worry about it coming across as too much

Consistent tagging - they don't have to boomerang like me, but once a day or every other day would be nice. Being engaging in the thread, doing the 'yes and/no but' rather than making me have to pull teeth to get anything to respond to. Having at least a LITTLE interest in the character / character's world isn't a requirement, but it feels too one-sided when I'm doing all the work carrying the conversation. Being just as silly and participating in equally silly things, because I enjoy crafting fun adventures and coming up with things to do and making my partner laugh/smile.
