Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.

wish i could find a character to stick with

i have a whole list of ones i can try, but it makes me sad when they don't immediately slot into that special part in my brain that makes me want to play them for years

maybe open a text doc and write a pseudo tag focusing each character icly? you can either base each off a tag you got, one in the wild, or come up with a scenario you could see the character participating in with a castmate or crosscanon cr, with yours either in or out of their element with it. maybe include some stuff you want to rp too, like a coffeeshop au or a sci fi jamjar setting, a character's first and fail kiss, anything! see if any click.

if they don't, then hey, at least it was something like a writing exercise you got to challenge yourself with for a bit. but if they do... you never know! might need a lot more reserved brain parking than you thought.

sa! but also, could always bring your prefs somewhere and ask for recs afa fandom and characters. this is if you're open to trying what might be a challenge about it that's potentially more at length, depending on feedback and what you end up checking out, but could be fun and give you some new stuff you like!
