Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

I finished the original run of Homestuck but kinda mentally checked out around the time Calliope and the other guy were introduced, because things got too convoluted for my tastes, but I do still have a soft spot for the first few Acts. I'll probably watch this and love it just for the nostalgia. and idk maybe if the adaptation improves over the original, I won't check out around the same point in the story a second time.

IF they even get that far, since this is just a pilot and might never get picked up for an actual series.

if. iirc viziepop got her start with homestuck art so she might push through at least until calliope

there's a lot of problematic content in the original. i could see doing act 1 and act 2 just fine, anything past that is better left alone tbh. hussie started burning out in act 5 (i think 5 was the alpha kids, anyway) and you could tell when he would take takes from tumblr
