Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

I agree with all of this, and aside from servers I also want to add that I prefer plurk adds to adding on discord because when all of your interactions are happening in the relatively public eye of your plurk list, other players seem less likely to try to get away with poor behavior such as angling for private shittalk or cornering you to pressure you into certain preferences or threads, and I've experienced far less instances of others attempting to use private plurks in the same ways as discord DM's. I've also found that adding individuals on discord seems to give them the impression that there is more carte blanche to my attention, even when I don't reply to the constant chatter or tell them outright that I'm busy.

agree with the shit-talking, if you're doing it on plurk everyone will see. if you do it on discord, the person can edit/photoshop messages to make it look like something else was said. it's whack.

inspect element makes this simple on plurk as well. the only edge plurk has over discord is that it has static message urls. so not saying you're wrong but watch out

valid point, I forgot people will do anything but rp including going on deranged photoshopping sprees
