Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

denise has zero control over what comms are opened on the site, which is the whole point of the anticensorship they're doing. the mods of wg erase/freeze what is brought to their attention. that's all they're required to do. the tos are being adhered to. you don't have to like it, but posting plurk pasts and discord chats does not break dw's tos. the only thing they aren't allowed to do is c/p or show locked dw posts. that breaks the tos. and doxxing. anything like that gets stopped. which is why ink and clawshrimpy comments get removed, because they selfdox.

the problem is wankgate stopped moderating at the end. There were multiple instances of things not getting frozen or deleted because the mod clearly left.

this creates an issue because in the event of another wankgate, the same thing could happen, and denise had trusted them to stay on top of it since wankgate is a grey area. Wankgate also violates the spirt of the ToS all the time by going into online harassment territory.

a lot of issues were brought up on the last wankgate post that bear consideration. wankgate is a public black book that is long past use where people now often make big drama out of small events because they are bored. it already poisons the water by existing.

its now used to shame players for one off incidents, mediocre characterization, ocs and bad icons.
