Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

duplicity is a sandbox known for having iffy mods. on the plus side, it has a huge playerbase so theoretically a lot of potential cr, but it can be an uphill battle breaking into the game and getting cr because it's a very old game at this point, most players have been in for years, and most characters ingame have a very well established cr web. it can be especially hard finding a contract partner.

+1 as a current duplicity player.

at this point most of the game (including me) is only still in it because of the sunk cost fallacy. i would never recommend it for new people.

if you weren't in dup where would you go instead? I've only heard of duplicity and golden peacock as sex games

but that's the thing - despite how the setting isn't utilised to its full extent, dup is one of the darker sex games around at the moment that doesn't hinge on monster transformation as a mechanic, so if i dropped dup, i wouldn't play in a sex game until something that could actually replace it in terms of setting rolled around
