anyone know how to install dreamwidth tools on firefox? i just made the switch and can't get this extension up and running.

My friend is ill and naturally on the quiet and slow sidd and it triggers all my insecurities and fear of rejection, through no fault of her own, so stepping back is best too. She basically never contacts me first, so I always feel like a nuisance, but she also (silently, until she told me) joined dw and set up a journal to play with me. Some people are just very quiet that way, even if they like you, but you can sometimes be incompatible.

Concubine Walkthrough. It's a webcomic not a manga, but it has one of the coolest takes on the isekai genre I've ever read and the art is absolutely stunning. Starts off as seemingly standard 'girl gets isekai'd into villainess role in a historical dating sim game', and then the plot gets real fucky and Matrixy and none of the characters are exactly who they seem.

Most of these, people will do in a single game over the course of their development, too, and if someone would complain about apping into a new game and seeing that their castmate who had been there for three years had turned into a vampire or been traumatized by events along the way or that there was a previous version of their character so everyone acted like they knew them, that person probably hates CRAU too but they don't have to play with you. (Although if you have prospective castmates in the game and they're anti-CRAU, maybe don't app that character. It'll be easier on you and everyone.)

Apping just for the ship sucks in every case, CRAU or not. If you're going in with your ship partner to continue the ship, make sure you tag out and make CR with other people.

I mostly just see people CRAUing from sex games into other sex games, but previous anon is right -- if you're going from sex game to gen game, that would make people uncomfortable. Same for from certain sex-friendly games into gen games (e.g. a game that was basically a sex game except without smut AC or otherwise making the sex mandatory IC or OOC wouldn't be a good idea, but a game where sex or fetishes never played a part in the plot or events and it was basically a gen game that just didn't make people fade to black or go off-comm if they wanted to thread smut is probably okay).

while in general i do agree with the concept of talking things out, i don't consider it "deeply unkind" to ignore someone on a meme, it's just bakerstreet.

and to add context, the person i was dealing with started to display obsessive/overly fixated behavior and at that point i sent them a dni and blocked their accounts. which is the first time i've ever had to do that with a rando on bakerstreet. in their case it was not about them not catching the hint, it was about them not accepting a 'no'.
