nah. it is much, much nicer to tell a player who you know you're never letting into the game for whatever reason 'hey this isn't the game for you' and shut it down immediately than it is to lead them on with hope that if they pick a different character or revise their app or have better samples that they'll get in eventually. this saves them time and effort and investment into future plans rather than get rejected twice over later on. there's nothing wrong with mods not wanting certain players around, especially in a capped game where that slot could go to someone they vibe with more.

Yeah! I think they care a lot. From what I saw from a friend the intro was very cute and personalized.

I'm a little convinced one of the mods is Stephen King trying out a porn hobby.

i don't disagree with you at all but i just have to "well actually" that the game isn't capped, only this first app round, so it is a little bit more of a blow if they aren't allowed to try again next round

I’d like some romance manga to read with like a classic ouran vibe or maybe something to do with idols or reincarnation into fantasy land…I know it’s kind of broad but basically I would like newer or niche stuff to read. I’m willing to give just about anything a go but do like protagonists with a bit of a backbone and for the plot to have actual interesting stuff going on beyond the romance if possible!

What are some good Bollywood films for someone totally new to the genre? What about Indian dramas, preferably historical or sort of dark and introspective? I got a little taste of Indian media of the two categories and now I need more but idk where to look.

Legend of Basara. The art is so beautiful.

My first was Om Shanti Om and it's still a fave. I love the first half the most because it's a playful romp with lots of fun dance numbers.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ) is a charming story about a nerdy 9 to 5er trying to woo his reluctant bride of circumstance by taking on a rocker alter-ego. It's very silly.

If you want to be blown away, check out Bajirao Mastani. It's a work of historical fiction (emphasis on the fiction) and feels a bit like MacBeth and Romeo and Juliet had a Bollywood high budget lovechild, but mostly I remember it for a sumptuous dance number featuring the heroine of Om Shanti Om: https://youtu.be/h6lHUn20J5g
