i have found they get horribly offended when people decide they don't want to plot with or tag them after they pull the ignoring thing, a take i have never understood. if you ignore someone why would you care if they decide not to bother with you in the future?

bc they can be selective about who they tag but god forbid anyone ever be selective in a way that also excludes them

While Pumpkin Hollow will nerf extremes, they generally allow powers. It's a little slowburn on the plot; there's a lot for players to poke at and investigate, some central mysteries to figure out.

you're right, it might eat into their enjoyment to accommodate, i should have thought of that!

i wouldn't say it's resentment, as i don't think poorly of them or their preference, but i think you guys are right that it's an incompatibility that is unlikely to be resolved in a way that doesn't make things unfun for someone!

ah, i'm with you on the dialogue issue! idk if it helps, but i've sneakily found a way to resolve that by effectively only answering one of their dialogue lines, if they do that. i also can't handle multiple dialogue threads in the same tag! i think you are all right and it's probably time to move on, in my case.

That's exciting to hear! Would you say the game tends to be more light-hearted/adventure or more mysterious and tense?

abraxas isn't those, but their app round isn't until feb. xim and eastbound might've worked but they're in endgame. i believe expiation also has no power-stripping or transformation.

I had a thread partner who did that all the time so I stopped adding meta commentary to my tags and focused on only giving things that were visible to the outside observer rather than any inner thoughts.

The standard rating order being switched for the app is messing me up due to dyscalculia and synesthesia, though. I am actually having a hard time with this, my brain is refusing to cooperate without visual assistance.

If anyone else is in the same boat, just write 1 = AGREE || 5 = DISAGREE after every question and color code it in a Word document or something. You can always delete it later!

that was my initial go-to! but now i'm wondering if it wouldn't be too much of an imposition, if they'd be perpetually paranoid and second-guessing their own style as a result, like one of the earlier commenters said. in my head, initially, it wouldn't have been a huge accommodation because it would've called on them to do less, rather than more, but i might have misunderstood how this works.

totally fair! for me, i find it's really distracting and it breaks me out of being immersed in the scene, because it feels like such an obvious author's note.
