The movies referenced are just so they're the appropriate age (most of these women are in the 30's now), but you can try other movies or shows earlier or around the same year also.

my plurk profile specifically states to ask me before sending a friend request and yet people do it anyway.

i use my plurk largely for rl updates and make it clear that my main goal in friending is developing a long-term personal friendship. if i notice that we're just not vibing, never talk or don't have much in common beyond threading, then i sometimes remove people with no bearing on my intentions to continue tagging them.

so i'd say that if they keep tagging despite unfriending, you're okay to thread away too.

Not a username but in the same ballpark: there is an Alan Wake account where all the icon keywords are in the format Alan Verb (like Alan Sit and Alan Stare). That got a laugh out of me.

I specifically paid for BS for a month to use the search function when I noticed it reverted to a free account. ty to users who also paid for BS in the past to make this function available.

I use Plurk for games (and even then, barely). I prefer talking to my thread partners (game and meme/PSL) on Discord or through Dreamwidth PM. I've defriended people I like tagging on Plurk because we never really spoke on the platform.

Unless they tell you they don't want to interact with you, tag them back and see how things shake out, nonnie. People have quirks about Plurk and it might not be personal.

I would initially find it off-putting because I like meeting and talking to people in this hobby, but I also have my thread partners whom I don't talk to about anything other than the characters we play and sharing ideas on what we'd like to thread. Some people just don't gel beyond what's currently connecting them — and there are some people I've tried to get to know but decided I'd rather just tag instead. That said, that's your boundary, and you're more than allowed to have it! If you regularly reach out to me to plot things and actively tag me, then I feel comfortable that you want to tag me and I am generally okay with not talking about life, etc. I don't think you're being secretive at all.
