50/50 comment field vs google docs in a file I have called 'tags'.

On the one hand I'm lazy, otoh every now and again I accidentally refresh a tab or close it when I'm mid-writing and lose everything I wrote and curse myself for being so careless.

before that, i use to type replies in post entry because of dw's autosave/restore feature.

Extreme shot in the dark, but I have been wondering (and have been worried) for years.

Has anyone heard from a roleplayer called Angie in recent years? When I knew her (this was back in 2011/2012), she played in Luceti and lived in France. She worked in a veterinarian clinic, and was often hospitalized. I think it was something to do with her kidneys, but I can't be sure. I remember that she had my phone number and one day, she called me out of the blue to apologize for being unable to reply to a thread that we had going, because of her medical problems. She was incredibly upset about it. I assured her not to worry about it, and to focus on her health first and foremost. I can't remember for certain, but I think this may have been the last time we spoke in any capacity. Some of her friends got in touch with me later to ask if I'd heard from her, and I confirmed to them that I hadn't.

I still have her phone number, but I'm afraid to do anything with it. It's been over ten years. Even if she's in good health now, this number may not belong to her anymore. And it's a French country code number, so if the number was passed on to someone else, that new owner will be very confused. I just really hope she's alright.

i've found the piracy sub on reddit (literally just r/piracy) to be very helpful in this regard. they have a megathread linked on the right that lists various safe sites for downloading different kinds of content. that + a decent torrent client (i use qbittorrent) + a vpn if you want should make it safe

Not really? Unless you're some of the persona non gratas we have trying to sneak back in, which they all have tells that give them away, no one should care?

+1, the only time I found it weird and cared, turns out the player was a fucking strange flake that ghosted people when she got bored of them and had been doing this for years
