Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

everyone tags back at once with great tags and a lot of fun ideas

too overwhelmed by sudden flood in inbox to respond to anyone

courier and courier new seem to be the go-to ones

some folks were partial to tt as well, but as a heads-up to anyone else using it, tt shows up illegibly small on some devices so it's generally not the best font pick of the bunch

i have gmail, and whenever i get a new tag it never goes into my gmail primary inbox, it always goes into the social tab thing, which means my phone will not notify me when i receive a new tag. i'm not sure how to fix this, because i'd like to receive an actual notification rather than just checking my email whenever i remember, which is very rarely on busy days.

help would be appreciated!

If you drag the email to primary a few times Gmail should be able to figure it out

tt stands for teletype which defaults to whatever your browser's default monospace font is, hence the tiny font sometimes

when I did a kink list a while back that had a few "character has these as hard nos" but I had no problem with them I put them in the "Maybe" section and basically explained that ICly the character would need a lot of convincing, the player has no problems writing them though.

I'm bored, so I might as well throw my hand at this. Recommend me a character! I've been wanting to try and play more villainous characters, horror movie characters, or possibly a Sonic character. Anyone got any suggestions?

you need to put

[span style="font-family:courier, monospace;"] tag goes here [/span]

when you list multiple fonts, the system reads them in order of preference, so this bit of code tells it 'if your system doesn't have courier, show this tag in its own native monospace font'. on some devices this may be a proprietary font you've never heard of, but it will retain the typewriter sort of look. this ensures that no matter what you're looking at the tag on, it will always show up as proper monospace.
