I have a character from children’s media that would DEFINITELY be inappropriately sexual. I don’t play him anymore and this is one of the reasons, but it can 100% be IC.

fwiw the few times someone has pmed me asking if I'm good after I drop something, I never feel hounded for tags. I mostly just feel bad because I'm either dropping the character or I couldn't think of a better place for the thread to go. I don't really have any issue being upfront about it when asked though, I just feel guilty since it implies the other person is more invested in it than me. I don't want to let anyone down!

Same here. The "I'll always tag everything back" players are made of stronger stuff than me. I don't mind a significant gap between tags, but when it's nothing but significant gaps there's no way for me to keep momentum and I'm not keeping the thread.

i've never even thought to do that. what makes you interested in stalking a game? do you choose a cast to stalk or just read all the logs you see? do you follow them to endgame?

i've only joined a brand new game once and considered a brand new game two more times but opted not to join. (one wasn't a good fit for the character i had in mind and one was when i was too busy)

in all three cases, it was because i knew the mods personally so i was willing to take more of a risk on a new game to help them succeed

A former magical girl is in her 20s/30s. The evil threat she dealt with as a teenager is gone, but she still has her transformation device/wand/etc. When she uses it, she turns into the exact same form from when she was active as a teenager, including age, build, etc.

She has a girlfriend, and they're very into this.

That's about it, really. The girlfriend can be a member of her old team and they both transform and mess around, or just a normal woman she let in on her secret. Fine playing canon magical girls or OCs, fine if it's more enthusiastic consent or the former magical girl is embarrassed/teased about it, etc, and fine with most kinks besides bathroom stuff or violence. Prefer drawn PBs, natch.

Hey, neighbor! Silent Spring is a semiprivate suburban 60s horrorgame based loosely on the likes of We're Still Here, Holly Heights, and similar. Characters wake up in the uncannily idyllic early 1960s suburbia of Sweetwater, Maryland, an integrated bedroom community of Washington, DC - in the same household as a complete stranger to whom they have apparently always been married, at least according to the eerily and unwaveringly chipper neighbors who seem to know a little more than they should.

Because of the nature of the time period and in the interest of creating a game that's enjoyable for everyone, we're looking for sensitivity readers to offer their thoughts on NPCs/events/environmental details and mechanics. There is a wonderful panel of volunteers who have been helping me with depictions of areas of marginalization I don't personally face, but we still have a few blind spots the pool of our shared experiences doesn't reach. More opinions are always better because things vary within communities so although a lot of the game's mechanics are written from my/my associates' lived experiences and comfort levels interacting with them in a fictionalized setting, we welcome additional thoughts.

Right now we do not have any sensitivity readers for:
— visible physical disabilities, including people who use wheelchairs; experiences using prostheses or braces of any kind are particularly valuable
— black women/men/nonbinary people — because a big part of the horror is the suffocating nature of era-typical sexism and the town is about 40-40 black and white, black women and femmes' perspectives are a particularly high priority. Thoughts on black femininity and gender constraints as they manifest in black women/femmes' lives as well as what conformity horror means to you are very important!
— Cambodian, Laotian, Hmong, and any Latine perspectives

A somewhat specific thirst (now in the right...thread...): I play (games/witcher 3) Geralt and love AUs, and I've been thinking about what'd happen if 1) he were in Faerûn, and 2) one of the origin characters got unwittingly skipped over by the main party, and Just Happened to run into a guy who'd be great at helping them pick up the trail or otherwise investigate.

I'd be especially interested to see how he'd get along with Astarion, Shadowheart, Lae'zel, Halsin, Gale, or Wyll. Secondary characters like Raphael or the Emperor would also be great, if anyone plays them (it's fine, we can Make It Work). I'm just as down for bad routes as good ones, for characters who have them!

Anyway PM me to get your tadpoled (or other) weirdo a taciturn bodyguard-for-hire; he fucks and plays cards.

Do you continue to top level even when you have ongoing threads?

There are a couple of mine that are my turn to tag, but they take more time and thought to write so I reserve it for days when I am not working. I top level in memes throughout but I hope it doesn't communicate a lack of interest in current threads.

it's never more complicated than this. Does the game look like it hits all my buttons, one of which is "good fit for one of my characters?" I will absolutely jump on the opening and make sure it gets off to a good start. Still a 50/50 chance the mod will think the start isn't good enough and close it a month later but at least I tried.
