I don’t want to have a rep for whining. The solution is I should tag out more until I find people who like to trade off.

not a stupid questions at all. i'd say most of the games i get into are new ones that i've seen advertised here or on plurk. i like getting into brand new games because both the playerbase and the mods are at their most active and excited at this point. everyone has fresh cr so no one is bogged down by all the cr they've already made yet (closed logs "to existing cr only" and no top levels or network posts from popular characters because "i have too much on my plate right now!" are valid and expected but also the bane of my cr existence in established games). if there's a plot to the game, it's all new so i don't have to go back and try to figure out what's been happening or ask icly for another character to fill mine in. it's just generally an excited and happy vibe that doesn't always persist in games that are 1+ year old.

that said, i have joined established games, and it's been a mixed bag. sometimes it's hard to get a foothold, sometimes i can find my niche with castmates or characters who have apped at the same time and get strong cr that way. i'm sure that's true of new games also, but for me personally, joining brand new games rather than established ones has always worked out better.

my experiences have been very similar to this.

getting into established games tends to be a lot more player-base dependent. i've also had experiences where the player-base has been great and very welcoming, but the sheer extent of lore and plot have meant that it's been intensely difficult to get a foothold.

i feel so irrelevant. my friends don't engage with me anymore, i don't get tags on memes or responses on emps, and it just feels like no one wants to rp with me. i never used to have to try very hard back in the day to get threads but now i seem to be invisible. feels bad man. :(

i seldom jump on brand new games, but when i do, it's typically because there's a premise i enjoy, the game seems popular, and there's a cap. i do find caps to be a powerful incentive, to be honest.

if my friends are also apping, or if i'm worried the character i want to play will be taken. that's about it.

a lot of us are struggling right now so trust me i get it. my rescue work is done mostly out of my own pocket but i do work alongside the local wildlife refuge, the herp society, and a 301c reptile sanctuary on occasion!

I wanna play ad-libbed adventures threads, just starting with a premise and rolling with it, but can't seem to get them off the ground.

it's ok if you don't get it

Two characters have a violent, obsessive, high octane love/hate relationship and repeatedly attempt to dominate and humiliate one another. Looking to play switch vs switch, so they should be equally matched such that it's a toss up in each encounter as to who gets railed. Flexible on setup but some ideas are: princes on opposing sides of a war, rival soldiers/spies/mercenaries, exorcist vs demon, killer stalking an equally unhinged target, etc. Prefer fantasy settings but not tied down to it, bonus for trashy sexploitation vibes.

Kinks I'd like to incorporate: dub/noncon, public sex and humiliation, gangbangs with shared NPCs, orgasm denial, rimming, sexual exhaustion and getting fucked through unconsciousness, heavy use of sex toys, mindbreak, captivity, weapon/gunplay, pretty much anything kinky, violent, or degrading. Hard nos are scat, underage, pregnancy, inflation.

Bonus kinks I'd love to play but are optional: bestiality, forced body modifications like piercings, cannibalism, guro (unrealistic, characters can't permanently die from it). If you want to play a monster character or use shared monster NPCs would also be interested in knotting, heat, marking, non-human dicks, excessive cum

Huge thanks to the anon who figured this out.

I have a couple fucked up scenarios I'd love to play out:

1) An older woman (A) takes a much younger girl (B) home, planning to have her way with B. Problem is, B is a disguised adult who can freely change the physical age of herself and others, and she swaps ages A to give her a taste of her own medicine - taking A at different ages and completely dominating her.

2) A and B are a couple in their honeymoon phase: A is hiding that she's not actually legal but is an early enough bloomer that she looks the part. B decides to spice up their love life and surprise A with an age-shifting device, only to discover the hard way that "just a year or two younger" leaves A looking as underaged as she actually is. After that, this could go any number of ways.

3) Two girls fool around with an age-changing device, making them older and/or younger- and discovering they like each other that way, or at different ages. Or, they use the device to physically de-age and humiliate people they don't like: their teacher, older classmates, annoying neighbors, etc.

Other kinks I'd love to include are humiliation, breast envy or worship, teasing about being early/late bloomers and sexy clothes not fitting anymore, and the transformation process being addictive or aphrodisiacal.
