no one's "assuming" anything here, it's a statement of fact that just because everyone in the game is thirsty for tav/durge/karlach/whoever you chose to play doesn't mean that everyone who plays those characters in rp is going to be down to play out that same thirst automatically.

speaking of assumptions, I don't even play an npc! just a former malleable protag player seeing the responses to this thread insisting npc players *have* to thirst after tavs because it's in the game and understanding why that might be off-putting for some npc players.

just play your tav and respect that not every astarion out there will be down to clown, even if it's canon. plenty of people will and you should focus your energy on them instead.
