Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.

Wanting to play out something soft and shippy for your dark and brooding blorbo because you need a goddamned break from the hell RL keeps dumping on you, and being told to write fanfiction for yourself. I'm in a similar place (except I want the dark and broody in the shipping) and fully feel you with wanting the interactive part of it. Writing a fic is just a completely different experience.

a lot of the appeal of RP for me is seeing where the other person goes with what I throw out there. I can't surprise myself in the same way

I like writing hurt/comfort, but my comfort zone is platonic relationships. family and friends, etc.
