as someone who gave this game a try a few months ago, I found it pretty difficult to get into.
there's an overwhelming amount of lore and game mechanics. between TDMs, monthly events, and events from previous years being up for grabs there were 10+ mod-written prompts along with a bunch of established groups of players off doing their own things. finding someone who wants to play the same thing as you can be a struggle. it might be because I didn't get folded into an existing group, but although I got some really great threads I had trouble grounding my character in the setting and getting things going between events.
it seems like a neat game but I'm also not surprised that it isn't attracting a lot of people outside the established crew, and a lot of the people who are established seem to be moving on to private games.
