Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.

Re: headcanons that annoy you
(Anonymous) 2022-10-03 04:48 am (UTC)(link)It was a much bigger thing in the fandom before a lot of wide-spread harassment started in 2020 on Tumblr and Twitter. The games didn't get released on Steam until starting in 2019, and the Western side of the fandom really started to blow-up in 2020, and with it the accusations of ships like Nishikiryu or Kiryu/Daigo (which wasn't exactly popular to begin with) being incest. A lot of content creators got harassed so badly they left the fandom. The same thing happened to Tachibana/Oda and Sagawa/Majima shippers.
Nishikiryu has always been one of the more popular ships in the fandom, but even now in 2022, every few months there's a blow-up about it being incest, so a lot of people still keep pretty quiet about it.
