This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. and re:#2 i've been trying to train myself to think about/put my energy into threads/cr with the people who are clearly excited for our cr/enjoying our threads and leave very little energy for the people who leave little space for me but it's definitely a process

yeah, anytime, glad i could help! i always got over things quicker when i had a new project to shift my energy to, plus the nice thing about this is that if things don't click you can just blame it on bakerstreet flakes and shrug it off or blame it on voicetesting or w/e.

i can't get too specific for your game because i don't know who you are or what game you're in, but the general principle is the same there tbh. if you've got a piece of ship/cr that really isn't doing it for you because of ooc friction/boomeranging people not you/whatever, then figuring out some plot you'd be interested in running and tossing it at people who are invested in tagging with you is the quickest way of getting over it. more room for other cr and other plots = less room for the disappointing cr, and the smaller it is the easier it is for you to look it over from all sides and just really figure out how you feel about it and what to do with it.
