This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. How do you know anything about the faults in my writing just from me saying i wish my rp partner would give me more than 1-3 short sentences in every reply? That's not very charitable.

Also the entire point of me asking is because I plan to tell them and deal with the consequences and want thoughts on how to word it. Like that's how this thread started

for real anon, you're sitting here asking how you can make someone feel crappy about their writing style. why do you want to do this? live and let live. just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean they're not having fun. clearly they were excited and wanted to write with you, so all you're going to do is make them feel bad, probably make them dislike their own writing, and maybe put them off rping for a while

or you could just.. deal with it, end the thread, and then stop saying yes to them when you clearly don't want to play with them

every way to word it is going to be shitty because the original intent is shitty. you can complain that we're judging you without knowing or something but asking someone to change how they rp because you don't like it is the basic thing you want to communicate here, and it's shitty.
