An info/perms post gets me more rp though? I've read threads here about how people are more likely to tag someone with that info easily available. Wheras an HMD sits empty and unused when 99.9999% of meme players would rather drop the thread than crit

im just saying, almost everything we do can to some extent be replaced by pms. i could just as easily pm you for info about your tentacle slut monster or w/e example you used earlier as i could plumb through your journal for an info post

Factually incorrect, but ok, sure. You said earlier it was a strange place to draw the line, but I don't think it is.

Info posts get me more tags because people can glance through, answer the most common questions, and save themselves the trouble or decide to move ahead with that tfln thread

HMD gets me nothing, because meme and psl only players aren't inflicting their characterization on a captive audience like in a game. Nobody is going to play out a whole ass thread on a meme if they take enough issue with the other writer's playing to write out the crit after the fact.

Not 'factually' incorrect because I have done this when I want to tag a character who I'm not canon-familiar with, especially for those without an info post

I move on when I see a journal without an info post because it's factually easier for me to do so

this. the function of an hmd and an info post is different, and i'm honestly more interested in receiving tags from strangers than i am unsolicited crit from strangers
