Reserves are open and the TDM goes up tomorrow! Exciting.

i kind of wanted to try my hand at getting into this game, but the amount of reserves already make me feel intimidated since there are so few open slots left.

you miss all shots you don't take, anon. Come dip at the TDM and see how much it inspires you with the character you're considering, you can think about what next after that?

about half of the reserves are players already in game, and reserves aren't always a guaranteed app! give it a shot.

13 slots and at least two people reserved wouldn't get in if the game were gonna close without more players. you got a pretty good shot anon.

21 reserves from new players competing for 11 slots :') i just hope everyone has read the game info and is aware of the increased likelihood they will not get accepted

And in the end it is turning out that they may end up with exactly as many apps as there are slots. Not a bloodbath at all apparently.

Whereas Ximilia seems eternally doomed to never have enough spots for people interested so it's a permanent bloodbath. I gave up after months of trying. Hope this game is better about it.

appreciate it's disappointing not to get into the game you want, anon, but i think we should be encouraging mods to recognize their limitations and stand by them. if there's a (capped) number of players or characters they know they can handle, then that's that. better to have an unstressed mod group that can oversee their plots and players and have fun, than to let a game balloon beyond what the mods can control. the bloodbaths are ultimately preferable to a game shutting down because it got too big for the mods' comfort.

Never said it wasn't okay for the mods to pick what made them most comfortable, I would never ask them to change their rules, they made it that way on purpose. Still allowed to find it frustrating from a player POV.

there's an inherent negative connotation in "i hope this other game is better about it" anon, that's what ayrt thinks we shouldn't be encouraging

your frustration is valid, dunking on mods for enforcing caps is not
