if you continually make plans with your friends and then have to flake on them because you have no respect for their time or ability to budget your own time and energy, youre a shit friend

also, lbr, if you take someone's time and their energy for granted and have a habit of repeatedly flaking on them last minute, disregarding what they put into it, then they're probably not your friend! or at least they're not someone who you value all that much.

you should look out for yourself, but there's ways of doing that which don't shit on other people, and sometimes you might need to put on your adult pants and go out and try to cancel things with some dignity.

most of this doesn't have to do with what op was talking about, but boy, apparently some of y'all really do think you're the protagonist of reality and everyone else doesn't have their own time or stress or schedules and can just wait on you.

the amount of times I've had people tell me they're too busy for our game plans because of work and irl only to immediately app another game is directly proportional to the amount of people I've stopped bothering to prioritize or believe when it comes to rp plans.

just be honest and don't flake on plans with people with lies.
