This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

It’s easy to feel left out when a more popular player posts in the Discord. There’s a lot of over talking/texting in there. I understand that everyone is rather excited to interact with each other but I think some players should be mindful of how much space they take.

i don't like the passiveness of the anon too but you're coming off worse imo. this is why the game is on the fast track of getting a bad rep. i feel awful for the players who are welcoming and friendly and try to include everyone who reaches out.

this. in every discord i've been in it's either silent or it's the same group of people actually having fun and responding to people who choose to join the conversation. ime across many discords the only time people really get ignored is if they're saying some socially unacceptable nonsequitur nobody knows how the fuck to respond to. and it's self evident that people are handwringing and whining anonymously because they're bitter about being a wallflower in most of these places because if a handful of players were truly steamrolling, the discord wouldn't be dead as a doornail when they weren't there to ~tamp down the other players~. the apparent restriction on your use of the discord's away for the next several, several hours, sis! if now's not your chance to shine now that they're not keeping you from socializing, when?

speaking as someone actually in the game and in the server; the server has multiple hours a day where literally no one is talking. even right now, the conversations have barely moved. even during "busy" talk, it only lasts for maybe an hour at most before things chill out to a slow pace again. no one is being talked over or blocked out of saying anything.

some of these replies are being needlessly mean, but it's not inaccurate to say the anon who made the complaint is also being unreasonable when the thing they're describing isn't actually happening.

what's more, the game doesn't have a "poor" reputation just because some anons aren't patient with wrong/petty complaints, and some other anons decide to amplify that to mean the entire game is somehow bad.

it's seriously baffling to me how often this game blows minor issues out of proportion and throws absolutely embarrassing tantrums whenever someone says something even mildly critical of how things are being done or how someone feels

the problem is the anon is "venting" about something that's literally not happening. there have been no comments in the rp-discussion channel since this morning (and even then, it was only busy for an hour this morning. there's only been four comments in the plotting channel at all today.

this isn't hard to see, since discord literally shows you timestamps by everyone's comments.

it does come off as entitled to demand others chill out when they're not even being that active in the first place.
