no, but for real. there's plenty of la movies and tv shows that have male characters crossdressing as a plot point. ladybugs. sorority boys. to wong fu. priscilla, queen of the desert. tootsie. mrs. doubtfire. birdcage. kinky boots.

there's an actual wiki that lists a lot of crossdressing in media and film. not to mention roles like breakfast at pluto's main character with cillian murphy dressing feminine, along with peacock, where he plays dual roles, one as a feminine personality. it's out there. and more and more tv shows are putting boys in drag/crossdressing in scenes. seriously. just google it as a tag on imdb or in google itself.

though idk if it's just me it's disheartening to see such few women dressing as men, and it feels like a lot of these examples were men dressing up as women/barely passing for laughs which is a whole nother thing. i don't blame op for not immediately thinking of convincingly passable men dressing up as women examples in big media. i didn't either.

that's because it's (broadly) socially acceptable for women to "crossdress" as men/wear masculine clothes, but men being femme or crossdressing as women is still seen as shocking and titillating
