I admit that I don't really understand what the difference in effort is meant to be here. I just assume if you already feel you tagged enough today, you can just continue tomorrow. The queueing of the meme sounds more like asking someone else to control your impulses for you.

i don't really care about an overall queue system because the average speed of bs is fine

i'm talking specifically about how people listed out memes they want and the response to that was to post a whole litany of them at once, then post even more when the complaints started

idk, imo it would have been a better approach in general to spread them out over a week or so instead of dumping them within a day where now all of them need to wait the same 2 weeks to be reposted

Ah ok, that makes more sense. I guess it was just weird to me because I was thinking if this had been 20 bad memes, people would probably complain about the quality more than the queueing but it wouldn't affect how they tagged. I just figured the number of memes wasn't a problem because of that.

depends on your definition of good/bad. personally, there's not a lot of the 'mass posted' memes that i want to play in at all. but i don't like about 70% of bakerstreet memes either. that's a me thing and i know that and i just, you know, scroll the fuck on and find one i do like or wait for a day when a meme i like is going to go up. or if i'm super desperate for rp right the fuck now, i'll put out an all call to my plurk list or pm some of my fave rp partners and see if they aren't busy. if memes are the only rp you're doing or where you're fishing for your bread and butter, then maybe that's the problem itself. other people usually find who they like to play with and then go off and do their own thing or play just together on memes.

none of that is going to make it so that the people not getting tagged get tagged, no matter how many memes there are.

I say bad but I don't actually think there's a lot of those either. Like even for the ones posted now, I just see them as about the same quality as the average bs meme, just catered a bit more to what anons want. So for me, I don't think having all of them in one go is really that much different.

I also do only play in memes and psls, so maybe that's a factor. I don't really have to worry about getting flooded by tags.

my mistake in using 'good/bad' in that. the memes themselves aren't good or bad. it's just who prefers to play in what. for instance, i do not like playing in tfln. but i know that people love that meme and it's very active and that would make it a general 'good' meme. it's just not one i like to play in.

i like seeing either new memes that i haven't tried before, or really old ones getting touched up a bit. there are lots of memes i used to love to see, but they got overused and reposted too much. it's one of the reasons i like that there's a once a month limitation on the word association meme, because it's one of my fave quick memes. but people have worked around that with multiple versions of 'word this/one word' type memes to get their fix. sometimes i'll play in them, sometimes i won't. but it's kind of like going to the same restaurant over and over. you like it, you have favorites on the menu, but sometimes you're just not in the mood to read the menu or even put your pants on to go out. doesn't mean you won't go back to the restaurant when your mood changes, but the memes in rotation rarely change.
